On a brighter note however, the annual Bee Guild Picnic will be held as planned on Sept 18, 2011.
It will be held at the home and garden of Wayne and Carolyn Craft at 16380 Harwood Rd. in Los Gatos. The picnic starts about 3:00 P.M. and runs until we are stuffed and decide to leave.
The bee guild furnishes the main entrees of BBQ beef, pork and chicken as well as drinks including water and sodas. Members should bring their own alcoholic drinks.
The bee guild also provides table cloths, plates, knives, forks, spoons, cups and napkins.
Members who have shade shelters may bring them along to cover us if it is a hot day. Wayne "only" has 20 chairs, so bring chairs to sit in.
You are welcome to bring a homemade beekeeping gadget to share to the BBQ.
